Mason Quarter set to transform life in Melbourne's north

9 April 2021

Cedar Woods is excited to launch Mason Quarter – a vibrant new community coming to Melbourne’s north.

The strategic acquisition of the 64-hectare site capitalises on one of the state’s fastest-growing regions, adding significantly to Cedar Woods’ Victorian development pipeline.

With over 45 sales already achieved, a range of off-the-plan house and land packages are available and the first releases of land lots are now selling from $243,000*.

Mason Quarter is located on Craigieburn Road, Wollert in close proximity to a range of existing infrastructure and public amenities including the Hume Freeway, Metropolitan Ring Road, hospitals, shopping centres and public transport.

Cedar Woods’ Chief Operations Officer, Patrick Archer, explains the value the new development will bring.

“Mason Quarter will be a hallmark project for Melbourne’s north and a substantial addition to Cedar Woods’ portfolio of masterplanned communities. The area has a lot to offer and with a site of this size we will be able to establish a thriving new community,” says Archer.

The masterplan accommodates around 800 dwellings and will be within walking distance to the proposed Wollert town centre, future train station, 3 new schools, community facilities, walking trails and cycling paths.

Prioritising access to green spaces and parks, Mason Quarter’s masterplan will feature an 8-hectare conservation reserve and over 30 tree reserves which will preserve and showcase the region’s signature river red gums.

Many purchasers have come from surrounding areas including Eric and Juliana Chung who purchased a block of land to build a four-bedroom home.

“We’re currently in Epping and have lived in the area for almost 14 years. We were drawn to Mason Quarter because we love being close to friends and family and having access to shopping centres and freeways. We are really excited to start this new chapter.”

Mason Quarter is currently selling from a temporary sales kiosk at Pacific Epping shopping centre. The permanent sales office will open on site in mid-2021 and will be joined by a display village in 2023.
