The Smith Family

Cedar Woods is a proud partner of The Smith Family – a national children’s education charity with a vision of a world where every child has the opportunity to change their future.

We’re supporing 100 students through The Smith Family’s core Learning for Life program, which is delivered in communities across Australia.

Learning for Life provides students and their families with financial assistance for education essentials such as uniforms and excursions, personal support from a Smith Family team member, and practical support through access to learning and mentoring programs.

Our partnership is supporting young Australians from disadvantaged backgrounds through primary, secondary and tertiary education. Together with The Smith Family, we’re committed to helping young people overcome educational inequality – so they can thrive now and into their futures.

Community Grants

Introduced in 2009, our Community Grants provide ongoing support to more than 150 community groups across Queensland, South Australia, Victoria, and Western Australia.

Funded through a percentage of our sales, the program has delivered significant benefits to local communities and continues to expand its reach and positive impact each year.
