Cedar Woods launches two new WA communities
22 March 2023
Cedar Woods has launched two new estates this year across Perth, broadening our breadth of land offerings for WA homebuyers.
The first stage of land at Eglinton Village, an over 1,200-lot masterplanned community in Perth’s fast growing northern corridor, launched to the market in February and has been met with great interest from first home buyers, upgraders and investors.
Located 45 kilometres north-west of Perth’s CBD, the new estate will be on the doorstep of Eglinton train station, which is currently being delivered as part of the WA Government’s METRONET rail program, forecast to open in 2024.
WA State Manager Ben Rosser said the move into Perth’s northern corridor was exciting for Cedar Woods.
“We’ve never before operated in that north-west corridor and we’ve been watching it closely, studying it, and the time was right when this piece of land came up for us to enter,” Mr Rosser said.
“The north-west corridor is by far producing the best sales results at the moment and is proving to be the most resilient.”
At the other end of Perth, construction officially started in February on land close to the Rockingham city centre and 600m to the beach which will soon be home to the boutique community of Atwater.
Mr Rosser said with limited opportunities to purchase land in Rockingham, Atwater created a chance for homeowners to build their new home close to existing amenities and an established city centre.
“We have received strong interest in the project to date and we’re looking forward to providing an appealing option for home ownership that allows the purchaser to access very rare, ready-to-build land in this area.”
The first release of blocks at Atwater Rockingham are already 50% sold out. Land is currently available from $220,000*.
Coastal blocks at Eglinton Village are now selling from $190,000*.
