Mr Nathan Blackburne

Nathan has more than 24 years’ experience in various sectors of the property industry including valuations, asset management, commercial leasing and property development.

He commenced his career with Cedar Woods in 2002 with the mandate to establish the Victorian office. He later led the expansion of the company into Brisbane and Adelaide to become State Manager for Victoria, Queensland and South Australia.

In 2016, Nathan was appointed as Chief Operating Officer for the company, working with the Board and Managing Director to strengthen the operating platform of the company and to prepare the business for further growth. In 2017 Nathan was appointed Managing Director and is tasked with strategically leading the company for future growth.

Nathan has a Bachelor of Business degree majoring in Valuations and Land Economics and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is also a Graduate of Harvard Business School in Boston having completed their Advanced Management Program.

Mr Patrick Archer

Chief Operating Officer

Patrick has more than 26 years’ experience in property, construction and development, delivering high profile projects across residential, retail, commercial and industrial sectors.

Prior to joining Cedar Woods, he had key roles on a number of Melbourne’s iconic developments, including several large scale civic and infrastructure projects.

Patrick joined Cedar Woods in 2005 and has played an important role in the success of the business over the past 14 years, previously serving as State Manager of Victoria and South Australia and leading Cedar Woods’ expansion into the Adelaide market.

Mr Leon Hanrahan

Chief Financial Officer

Leon is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Secretary with significant experience in accounting and finance roles in Australia and overseas.

As Chief Financial Controller at Cedar Woods his responsibilities include management of accounting systems, treasury, statutory and management reporting, group budgeting and forecasting, and tax planning and compliance.

Leon’s time at Cedar Woods is preceded by management roles at a large private group, Royal Dutch Shell and Ernst & Young. Leon also serves as a Non-Executive Director of Amaroo Village.

Mr Ben Rosser

State Manager – Western Australia

Ben joined Cedar Woods in 2015 and is a highly experienced business leader having amassed more than 25 years’ experience within commercial property agency, property development, manufacturing and service sectors.

Prior to joining Cedar Woods, Ben was CEO and Director of an ASX 200 subsidiary company, a position held for four years. The business comprised approximately 150 employees across four locations with a combined turnover of approximately $180m.

Preceding this he held COO, CDO and ultimately CEO positions over a combined eight-year period within a private equity funded company he co-founded with partners in 2004 operating within property tourism, resource and affordable living sectors.

Mr Lloyd Collins 

State Manager - Victoria

Lloyd joined Cedar Woods as Projects Director in 2016. He was appointed Development Director in December 2017 and became State Manager in October 2018.

Since joining the company, Lloyd has played a leading role in negotiating lease agreements with major tenants, securing forward sales of large-scale pre-leased office buildings, and developed new strata office buildings and residential apartment buildings at Williams Landing.

Lloyd joined Cedar Woods with more than 25 years of experience in property development across the residential, office, retail and industrial sectors, and played a key role in significant retail and office developments at Docklands in Melbourne.

Mr Paul Freedman

Company Secretary

Paul was appointed to the position in 1998. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

He brings to the company a background of over twenty years in financial management in the property industry, preceded by employment in senior roles with major accountancy firms.

Paul also serves as a member of the Chartered Accountants Advisory Group.
