Nathan Blackburne joined Cedar Woods in 2002 to lead the company’s expansion on Australia’s east coast, beginning a progression through several senior leadership roles within the business.
With experience across property valuations, asset management, commercial leasing and property development, Nathan established Cedar Woods’ Victorian office before helping expand the company’s presence into Queensland and South Australia.
In 2016, Nathan was appointed Chief Operating Officer, working alongside the Board and Managing Director to strengthen the company’s operating platform and position Cedar Woods for its next phase of growth.
Nathan became Managing Director in 2017, relocating to the company’s Perth head office to lead the business nationally.
Nathan holds a Bachelor of Business and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is also a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program in Boston.
Chief Operating Officer

Patrick Archer is Chief Operating Officer at Cedar Woods, drawing on more than 30 years of experience in property, construction and development to lead the company’s operations and support its continued growth.
Since his appointment as Chief Operating Officer in 2017, Patrick has been responsible for delivering key business objectives, strengthening operational performance and overseeing areas critical to the company’s success. His role includes supporting Cedar Woods’ core business while identifying and advancing new growth opportunities.
Patrick also plays an important role in fostering a high-performance culture, with a focus on attracting, developing and retaining talented people across the business.
Having joined Cedar Woods in 2005, Patrick previously served as State Manager for Victoria and South Australia, where he led the company’s expansion into the Adelaide market. Earlier in his career, he worked on a number of major Melbourne developments, including large-scale civic and infrastructure projects.
His broad experience across residential, retail and commercial property supports Cedar Woods in delivering high-quality projects and strong business outcomes.
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Business Administration, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Chief Financial Officer

Leon joined Cedar Woods in 2010 and held several senior finance roles before being appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2018.
As Chief Financial Officer, he leads the company’s finance strategy, with responsibility for capital management, financial systems, reporting, compliance and investor relations.
Leon brings more than 20 years of finance experience across the property, resources and professional services sectors in Australia and Europe.
He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Leon holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance.
Leon also previously served for 10 years as a Non-Executive Director of an aged care and retirement living group.
Company Secretary and General Counsel

Sarah was appointed Company Secretary and General Counsel in September 2025, succeeding longstanding Company Secretary Paul Freedman following his retirement on 30 September 2025.
A senior lawyer and governance professional, she brings 15 years of experience advising ASX-listed companies across corporate governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, projects, capital markets and ESG.
As a member of the Executive Team, Sarah provides legal and strategic guidance to support Cedar Woods’ governance, decision-making and continued growth.
Chief Information Officer
B.Com, MAICD
Jimmy Lee joined Cedar Woods in 2018 to lead the company’s technology function, with a focus on modernising systems, improving processes and supporting the way the business operates.
Appointed Chief Information Officer in 2020, Jimmy leads Cedar Woods’ digital and technology strategy, helping the company use technology, systems and data to support its broader business objectives. He is also passionate about leading strong teams and contributing to a positive, change-ready culture.
Jimmy brings more than 25 years of experience across property, logistics and supply chain management, mining and metals, manufacturing and other industries. This broad background informs his practical approach to innovation and his understanding of how technology can create business advantage.
In 2020, Jimmy was recognised in the CIO50 as one of Australia’s most innovative Chief Information Officers.
Jimmy holds a double degree in Commerce and Arts from Curtin University and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ Company Directors Course.
National Acquisitions Manager

Brendan Gorringe is National Acquisitions Manager at Cedar Woods, bringing more than three decades of experience across the Australian property and finance sectors.
Appointed to the role in April 2021, Brendan is responsible for sourcing, assessing and negotiating new acquisitions for the Cedar Woods portfolio. He also helps identify new business opportunities and partnerships, ensuring the company’s acquisition strategy supports its broader business objectives.
Brendan joined the Cedar Woods Executive Team in July 2022, contributing his experience across property, finance and business analysis to the company’s leadership.
Before joining Cedar Woods, Brendan held a number of senior leadership and executive management roles, including positions with ANZ and Westpac.
Brendan holds a Bachelor of Business in Valuation and Land Economy and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment in Investment Management. He is a licensed valuer, a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Associate of the Australian Property Institute.
State Manager - Victoria

James is State Manager for Victoria at Cedar Woods, leading the company’s development portfolio across residential land, townhouses, apartments and office developments in Melbourne.
In his role, James oversees Cedar Woods’ development, sales and marketing activities in Victoria, supporting the delivery and performance of the company’s portfolio across the state.
James joined Cedar Woods in 2018 and has worked on significant projects in both Western Australia and Victoria. He was appointed to the Cedar Woods Executive Team in 2023.
He brings extensive property industry experience across valuations, acquisitions and development management in a range of sectors.
James holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Property and Finance, and has completed the General Management Program at Melbourne Business School.
State Manager – Western Australia

Ben Rosser joined Cedar Woods in 2015 as State Manager for Western Australia, bringing more than 30 years of experience across property development, commercial property agency, manufacturing and service-based industries.
As State Manager, Ben leads Cedar Woods’ operations in Western Australia, overseeing the development, sales and marketing activities of the company’s portfolio across the state. He is also committed to developing and mentoring property professionals within the business.
Before joining Cedar Woods, Ben held several senior leadership roles, including Chief Executive Officer of Fleetwood WA, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Discovery Holiday Parks, and General Manager of Resort Parks.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Melbourne Business School. He has also participated in the UWA/Harvard Senior Executive Forum and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
State Manager - South Australia

David Burton is the State Manager for South Australia at Cedar Woods responsible for leading the company’s strategic direction, operations and delivery across the state.
A highly experienced property executive, David has built a strong track record in residential property development, direct property acquisitions, mergers and acquisitions, and capital partnering, that have contributed to high-quality urban outcomes across Australia.
In his current role, David oversees Cedar Woods’ portfolio in South Australia. He is focused on strengthening the company’s presence in the state, fostering partnerships with government and industry and delivering integrated communities that respond to both market demand and community needs.
David holds a Bachelor of Business (Property) from the University of South Australia and a Master’s degree in City, Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Curtin University.
